Opalima Beauty (pronounced o-pawlee-mah)

     Opalima Beauty is founded on the notion that beauty should not mean sacrificing healthy ingredients.  Over the years I have struggled with finding makeup that was healthy for my skin that did not clog pores, cause dryness, or look too ashen.  At the time I struggled with acne and extremely oily skin that became dry over the years.  By the time I had earned my estheticians license I was already a fan of mineral makeup.  I loved the lightweight feel it gave my skin, but felt the formulas where lacking and had ingredients that where irritating. 

     While performing numerous procedures as an esthetician I listened to the concerns clients voiced about makeup.  I knew it could be improved upon.  When speaking with women of all shades of color it was apparent that we all had the same struggle but in varying degrees.  All of us wanted cosmetics that were fun to wear, gave great coverage and was healthy for our skin.  Too many over the counter and department store brands contained questionable ingredients and trying to figure out the mile long list of contents only led to more questions.  I then set out to research the wonderful world of mineral cosmetics and all it had to offer and here is the result of those ten plus years.
